E. M. The owners of quartz proper‘ties know full well that if the fouling of streams by hydraulic mining is declared unlawful the same rules will apply to themselves. Charley Schwartz Arrested. Charles Schwartz, a sporting man well known in this city, was.arrested: above Colfax Tuesday night for being engaged with Tom Tracy in the robbery of the Dutch Flat express wagon. Tracy is the party captured above San Juan on suspicion of robbing the New York Hill wagon near Grass Valley, ‘and Oregon Smith who was caught at the same time is the party who peached on.
