TEACHER’s INSTITUTE.—The annual session of the County Teachers’ Institute will commence in-this-city-on Weds ~ . nesday next and continue three days. . The law provides that teachers shall Institute, and the Board of. Examination has declared that for failure to attend the County Boards of Examina-‘ tion woald be justified in annulling certificates of teachers who refuse to attend. , It is. certainly the interest of both teachers and trustees to have the schools represented in the Institute. It-is the teacher’s opportunity for im~provement, and-the live teachers will not neglect the Institute. Democratic. CONVENTION.—The DemecratieCenvention will meet at the Theatre ia this city to-day, for the to represent this-county in the State Convention, which meets on Tuesday next at Sacramento, to nominate two candidates for Supreme Judge.
