Grass Valley Union: The Marysville Express acknowledges that its
city is already beginning to feel the
effect of the withdrawal of the patronage of the mining communities
from that town. The miners have
only,just commenced, however, to
protect their own intereats by fighting their enemies, and when they
have fully organized and begin to
give a long pull, a strong pull, and a
pull altogether, the little town of
Maryaville will find that the patronage of the communities they have
commenced a war with is something
not to be despised,
