The hotel] Company have decided to build upon the lot formerly ownod by the: Odd Fellows. The addition will be forty feet front by ove bundred feet deep. “The new building will be three stories bigh. The lower door will consist of two excelleat store-rooms. The upper stones will tive fifty additional rooms to the hotel, making it the largest oot of Sai Francisco. ‘The whole building will then bave a frontage “of one hundred and twenty feet on Brosd ‘street. The old building is seventy feet sdeop, and the addition one hundred. Sach an addition is demanded by the increasing ‘usiness of the town, and if the new bu:lding was completed today, it would all be ‘occupied. The addition is to be-of brick, ‘and will require about two hundred and fifty feousand. Sach improvements as this speaks ‘well for the prosperi'y of our city. "WE bave received a copy of the Seventh ‘Anoual Cireular of the Miners’ Foundry, from our agent in San Francisco, ard would ‘advise a careful peruss! of it by our mill ‘men and miners generally, for it contains much useful information about machinery, valuable tables, useful statistics, &e., that ‘will ke found very convenient for reference.
