keeps on hand all kinds of canned
goods, sugar-cured hams, wines
and liquors for medicinal purposes,
and everything found in a firstna Legislature has, excited such
general indignation that a petition
to Congress to anaul its acts is’in
circulation. Among its items of
appropriation is one of $10),000
for an Insane Asylum, $700,000. to
one railroad and $3)),099 to other
questionable projects. The allowance to clerks for the sessio1 was
$16,009. and for printing $20,899.
County courts were created against
general protest with salaried offieials-thatwill increase~the~expenses of many of the counties
‘$15,000 a year. The history of the
session reads like a story of highwaymen, and affords a. striking
contrast to the modest and orderly

Tr is thought in Peru that they
will before long be able to ship to
the United States the far-famed
fruit known as the chirimoya, a
species of custard apple, whichthe
Peruvians declare to be the most
delicious product of nature. A theologian in Lima once expressed the
opinion that-the chirimoya must
have been the forbidden fruit of
the Garden of Eden; and he did’
not wonder, therefore, that Adam
and Eve were tempted to eat it.
PILES !, PILES!
A SURE CURE FOUND AT LAST!
No One Need Suffer.
A sure cure for Blind, Bleeding,
Itching and Uicerated Piles has
been discovered by Dr. Williams
(an Indian Remedy,) called Dr.
William’s Indian Pile Oimtment.
A single box has cured-the -worst
chronic cases of 25 or 30 years
standing. No one need suffer five
minutes after applying this wonderful soothing medicine. Lotions,
instruments and electuaries do
more harm than good. William’s
Indian Pile Ointment absorbs the
tumors, allays the intense itching,
(particularly at night after getting
warm in:bed,) acts-as a poultice,
gives instant relief, and is prepared only for Piles, itching of the private parts, and for nothing else.
Read what the Hon. J. M. Coffinberry of Cleveland says about Dr
William’s Indian Pile Ointment:
PILES!
and it affords me pleasure to.say
