The bill inflicts a heavy penalty upon . Collectors who shall givé other than a printed receipt of prescribed form, and holds companies responsible. for the taxes of miners employed. The Road Overseers are authorised to’ examine receipts, and'if such cannot, be shown, to require parties to ‘work upon the road for the full amount of taxes.
