Section 1. That in place of establishing
a Board of Health by Ordinance, as provided
by section 3061 of Article V of the Politica
Code of the State of California, the health
regulations for the City of Nevada she'l be,
under the control and management of a
Health Officer, who shall be appointed by
the Board of Trustees of the City of Nevada
to hold said office at the pleasure of said
Board, and for such salary or compensation
as the Board of Trustees shall adopt from
time to time.
Section 2. The Health Officer of the City
of Nevada shall have a general supervision,
ofall the mat ers appertaining to the sanitary condition of the city, aud make such
rules aud regulations. in relation thereto as
arenot inconsistent with law, and wheneyer
nevessary shall have the power to perform
