Tue MINSTRELS.—No doubt.the Theater
willbe crowded with ladies and gentlemen, . }.
to see the minstrels, this evening. The
mwonds "Brothers will be assisted: by a

this city, will add a charm to the entertsiament. The programme presented is excellent, containing many gems of song und

cannut fail to: “draw.” ‘These minstrels
gave an entertainment at Grass Valley on

“Everybody seemed delighted with the performance, which, to sfeak ‘within bounds,

compare favorably with many we have wite

Horse STOLtN.—Gregory, Marsh and
Perry had a valuable horse stolen from
Mullen’s ranch, oo the Bear River road, on .
Wednesday evening last.The man who
was herding cattle on the ranch picketed
the horse, which he had been riding, without taking off the saddle or bridle. In the
morning the animal was gone, and though
search was made inevery direction, no,trace .
of the animal could be found.
SALE OF A VALUALE MINE.—Mr. Gessler yesterday concluded the purchase of the
Union Jack Mine. This mine is a western

the inusicians of this city are rehearsing for
