THE VELOCIPEDE.—The velocipede appeared on the street for the ‘first time yesterday, and attracted considerable attention. Un Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock the ladies and children who desire to see it go, will have an opportunity atthe Theatre. Quite a number have expressed a desiro to see it ran. New Booxs,—A _ large number of new books will soon be added to the Nevada City Library.” Tur OVERLAND MonTHLY.—The Overland Monthly for March, published by A. Roman & Co. of San Francisco has come to hand, filled as usual with able articles, many of them of especial interest to readers on this coast.
