That Contract,

We understand that the special Fee and
Salary Bill for Nevada county, passed the
Senate on Friday last: with some amendments, and was immediately sent to the
Assembly. The amendments were concurred in, and the bill was sent to the Governor
for his signature.
A telegrann was received in this on last
evening, stating that the bill had been signed by the Governor.
