charged, and may be collected, for. sales of
water for the purposes of irrigation. The
rates shall be considered chargeable for the
season, and are deemed to be due at the close
of the season for irrigation, which for the
purpose of collecting the same, shali not be
later than the first day of November, 1883.
Section 42. For irrigation, for lots where
products are raised for sale, $40.
Section 44. For irrigation, -for lots of 200
feet front or ever, not selling produce, $10.
Section 45. For irrigation, for lots of over
50 and under 200 feetfront, 36.
Section 46.-For irrigation for lots. under
50 feet front, $4,
All persons are required to take water
from the Water Company for dorhestic uses
to entitle them to obtain water for irrigation.
The Water Company may cease to supply
water to any person able to pay for the same
if, on presentation of a demand for the sum
due, the customer shall neglect or refuse to
pay said amount within thirty days thereafter.
No person except the properly authorized
agent ‘of the Water Company shall turn on
the’water to any place or building without
a, permit from the water agent, except: as
hereinafter provided.
In consideration of the right to collect the
rates hereinbefore ‘established, the City of
Nevada shall be entitled to the use of ‘the
water, free of cost and when required by the
city authorities or the Fire Department, ‘acting through its officers properly authorized,
for the following purposes:
1st. For the extinguishment of fires,
2d, For the testing of hose, and hydrants,
and pressure.
8. For the flushing of sewers, and supplying water! tank at the Plaza, and the uses
of the City Hall.
4, Forthe sprinkling of streets, when the
reserve of water for other enumerated uses
is not-seriously impaired or endangered.
