Lecture,
On Thursday night the exercises
at the Teachérs Institute commenced
with a quartette by Mrs. A. H. Hunson, Miss Katie Edwards, John Glasson and Chas.’ Grimes. Mr. Davis
and Professor Muller gave a duet on
the violin and:piano. The» Poll’ was
called and the teachers responded by
sentiment, after which Mrs. Hanson
sang a beautiful solo, and the ‘lecture
of the evening, on the qualifications
of the teachers, was delivered by Dr,
Lucky. It was very intetesting and
instructive, and at its conclusion a
vote of thanks-was tendered by the
Institute.
