a day or two since, that a question had been
raised as to whether parties serving a term
in the Penitentiary, could be brought before
a court to be tried for another crime. The
question Was suburitted by District Attorney
Caldwell ‘to the Attorney General, and the

Crimisal Code, such an order may be made
by a court having jurisdiction. In accordance
