Sheriff Perrin arrived in this city on Tuesday evening, having in charge John Brown, who was lodged in jail toawait trial under the indictments agiiusthim. Some timeago the officersteceived official information that Brown was an escaped convict from San Quentin;.and had not served out his time. theGovernor and Attorney-General Sheriff. Perrin took.Brown down to San Quentin. Upon arriving there he learned thut Brown had served out a term for grand larceny of four years, being sent under the name of Marshall, from Siskiyou county.
