Central House Burned.
The Central House, on the Washington road for may years owned
and kept by Pete Hunnefauth, was
destroved by fire on Thursday afternoon, between 5.and 6o'clock. The
house has for several years past been
owned and kept by John Rebinson.
The fire caught from a flue, and
burnt.with such rapidity that-nothingeduld be saved. Robinson had
alarge stock of provisions on hand,

The trial of Carrie Smith, alias the
“Spring Chicken,’’ charged with as‘Menced in the County Court yesterday, District Attorney Deal appearing for the prosecution, and J. I.
Xildwell for the defense. The offevse with which she is charged is
