Gates of this city,a son-in-law of Richard Hoskin, claims to own all the interest that the latter held in the Empire Foundry. Mr. Gates had notified the Marshal of this claim, and the Marshal therefore demanded and received au idemnity bond from the plaintitf in the action above named. Subsequent to the sale yesterday Mr. Gates began, in the Superior Court of this county, an action for conversion, against M. M.
