We always Whew’ that Nevada flour, mide at the flouring mills of Torson & Clark, in’ this city, hada reputation of being the best in the State, but we were not aware that-it was, so highly appreciated as to bring Orders for it from the Eastern States. But such is nevertheless the fact. The proprietors of the Nevada Flouring Mills have just received an order __ for one ton of their flour, to be sent to Edin Perrin, Providence, -Rhode Island. After this brand of flour “becomes more widely~known in the East, we shoyid not be surprised if our friends Torson & Clark should have to increase the capacity of their mills to Supp!y the inereased demand. New Road. f We understand Peter-Purdon has just completed a new road’ from ~Glagsett’s, on the North San Juan road, to Jack Ray’s ranch, and from there to French Corral, the roud has been put in splendid repair. This ' is-efimmense benefit to the people living down the ridge, and is about three iniles nearer to. French’ Corral than by the old way. Purdov understands the want of the peeple and ever since he bought the Black Bridge, he has done all in his powcr to accommodate travelers. a _ 2 Reducing the Ferce. Armvung those to be mustered out are tue Grass Valley Union Guard ‘and Howell’ Zouaves. Bach member of the Companies mustered out is entitled to an honorable: discharge, and if they join other Com: panies they will be entitled to count the time which they have already been in service in making application for exémpt certificates. 4 Nathan & Casper: have purchased the entire stuck of the firm ot Nuthan & Miller, at the store on the corner ‘of Pine and Commercial streets.
