This mine is located about 300
yards south-east of the Idaho, and a.
shaft has been sunk which strikes the
ledge at adistance of 75 feet from,
the surface. The ledge is about 7 or
5 feet in thickness, and carries gold
and penty of ‘sulphurets. The
mine is owned by Grass Valley and
San Francisco parties, and’ it is understoad that a contract wiil soon be
let to sink the shaft 100 feet déeper
and crosscut at that point through
the ledge. Theowners of the mine
think they have a good property: in
