It commenced raining yesterday
morning about 6 o'clock, and continued throughont the day. It was
@ glorious rain storm, but we fenr it
‘hes done a great deal of damage to
farmers who have just cut their hay.
If yesterday was a stormy day,
there was an unusual. number of
strangers in town. A greiit many
came from various places in this and
the adjoining countias, to attend the
Masonic meeting and banquet, which
__took place lust evening.
