They have regeived information from Grand Commander Davies that ex-soldiers, not now connected with a Post, but who were in good standing in any Post to Which they belonged which has eurrendered its charter, are entitled to wear their badges in any procession that may be held on Memorial Day. It has therefore been decided to take steps to have a procession on that day, and observe the usual custom of decorating the graves of deceased soldiers, and to fire military salutes over the same, and for the purpose of consultation and making necessary arrangements Capt. J. R. Crocker has advised with other members of the Grand Army and a _meeting will be held at Justice Paynter’s office Saturday evening at 7 o’clock te which all ex-soldiers are respectfully invited. ‘ —_—_ + 2+ i) Almost a Serious Blaze.
