Bie B eThe Raiirond Meeting, / Yesterday morning the Executive Committee of the Nevada and Grass Valley Railroad Association met at the Bank of A. Delano, Grass Valley. The report of A. Delano, Treasurer, was submitted, and after examination by the committee, was approved. The amount drawn for expenses of survey was reported at $2,175 25, leaving a b lance of $136 65 on hand. After al~ l-wing bills presented some $8. remuined on hand. It was deemed advisable by the committee ‘to, postpone further action on the report until after the maps and field notes were procured and correspondence had with the wistherefore tabled. A general desire was expressed by members of the committee to have the report submit-~ ted-to competent engifeers, who are familiar with the cost of constructing -parrewgauge. peads, before a final-cc~port should be made to the society. Miltary Parade. \/ Anorder has been issued from Head_qaarters of the Fourth Brigade oy the 9th day ot May, this being the parade which was postponed from the 22d of February. The Nevada Light Guard, by this order, are commanded to parade on the 9th of May, between the hours of 8 o’clock A. M. and 4 P. M, meet at the armory A che 9h inst. at lo'clock P. M. A company meeting the armory on Saturday night of this week. Every member of the company should be on hand. 4 The Dedication. The new rink will be dedicated by the Young Men’s party this evening. Dancing from 8 to 12 o'clock. The hall is the largest north of Sacramento, having 128 square feet, more room than the Grass Valley Skating Rink. The floor is in sp'endid condition and excellent--music has been engaged. Every effort has been made by the Young Men’s Social Clab to make the tty a pleasant one, and those who main away to-night will miss one of the moet pleasant parties ever given in this city. The invitation cards must show at the door; Where adniission tickets can be procured. Marysville Drawing. The Marysville gift enterprise is the first one to take place, on Wednesday next. Those who contemplate pur‘chasing a. ticket should do so immediately, as they are being sold very fast—the few that remain. There is not a shadow of doubt but that it will come off to the satisfaction of everybody—the Board of Managers being a Sure guarantee of that fact.
