Another Rich Discovery. .
A'S. Pelham & Co., who, for the
last six or eight months have been
ratnhing a ‘tunnel on the old Gaston
Ridge mine, about six miles above
Washington, and about the same
distance from Eureka South,—were
rewarded on Friday last-by striking }
a splendid ledge of very rich rock,
which, according to the judgment of
experts, will pay $200 per ton.
Many years ago this mine was worked some vhat extensively and a chute
~of very rich “rock followed~severat~hundred feet. This rock was milled
