NEVADA crry, CALIFORNIA, v LOCAL INTELLIGENCE. : :% GREAT. THEATRICAL TrEat.—On the 15th and 16th, our theatre going people will have an opportunity of witnessing the best entertainment ever. given ia the city. Barrett and MeCui~ jough, two of the best. tragedians that have ever played on this coast, will apMrs. Judah, Miss Fanny Young, Marry Jackson, Fitzgerald, Wilson, Mestayer, Simms, Edouin, Thayer, King, Cleaves, and Macklyn. This company is well . qualified to present Shakspeare’s best tragedies as: well as they are played ~ anywhere in the country. Itis seldom . : that such such stars as Barrett and Me-Cullough appear together on the stage even in the largest cities. Our people have seen McCullough, who played in this city with Alice Kingsbury, and everybody praised his Hamlet as the best they had ever witnessed.— Barrett is pronounced the most polished actor that ever visited this coast. We ~have always predicted that such talent ’ as this company possesses could fill our . ~ Theatre to its utmost, because our people appreciate good acting and are always ready to encourage entertainments that are worthy of support. . Eo oar IN LittLeE Yorx.—The fol-dJowing county roads located in Little York township, were divided into Sections by the Road Commissioner, and the report was approved by the Board of Supervisors : Section Ist. House thence along the Grass Valley and Buena Vista: road to Greenhorn bridge—three miles more or less. “This ged repair.. The roads of this t township have not all been included in the report for the reason that some of them are under the show. New Bvipine.—T. C. Lampe is putting up a new brick building in the Place of the wooden structure recently occupied by Schmittburg as a saloon, and adjoining the lot upon which E. F. Spence is building a brick store. When . ting these buildings are completed, the entire block will be of brick.
