Aeiada Daily Transcript -. ‘THe EXPLoRIng@ePanty.—The exploring party which went out on Tuesday last, for ~ the purpose of reaching the headwaters of Bear river, returned yesterday, having aecomplished their object. The boundary between Nevadh and Placer counties gives us about forty miles of railroad in this county, and it will be impossible to make any change in the line, without changing the law fixing the boundaries between the two counties.ANOTHER AvciDENT:—Henry Brown had his right -arm seriously injured at Brown’s will, near You Bet. His coat sleeve cayghtin some of the gearing in the mill, the entire sleeve was tern off and the arm drawn in after it. Dr. Martin was called and dressed the wound. \ Hoisting Works.—The building for the hoisting works at the Star Spangled. Banner has been completed, and the machineryis. now being made at the foundry of mm eepeale in this.city.. The engine is to ‘be of twenty-four horse . power, and is to do both pumpi ng and hoisting. We learn, that the owners of the claim will seen commence the erection of an excellent crushing aill upon their claim. $ CHANCE TO INVesT.—The Pennsylvania mine is offered forsale. Qn account of the recent heavy loss sustained by the Company by the explosieil of the boiler at their mill, they are unable to-continue work.— The wine is said to be-excellent, and capi‘talists desirous of investing should take a ~ look at this lead. All persons having claims against the Company are requested to present the same for adjustmeat, to the manager of the business, at the Banking House of Hinds & Tully in this city. oe: New Scuouot House.—The new school’ house in course of construction at Allison Ranch is almost completed. It will cost between two and three’ thousand doullars, and will be the finest building of the kind in the county. The money tor building the house, was subscribed by the proprietors” and workmen of the Allison Ranch mine. We understand a party will soon be given for the purpose of raising money tofurnish the building. i >° . Murrany.—The Nevada Light Guard gy will parade in full uniform this evening. — They will be accompanied by the Washington Brass Band, one of the best in the State. JUSTICES AND CONSTABLES.—The Justives of the Peace ‘and Constables in this county should be careful to follew the law . in making out their bills tothe Board of Supervisors. Every service, and every case, should be specified. Many bills are’ passed over for a term, er sent back because of informality. The Supervisors have.determined to send every bill back, in which the charges are not made as the law directs. Constables and Justices who expect to get their pay for services, should attend to this matter. ; eel * Tax Granp Juny.—Tue Grand Jury for the November term of the County Court, was empanneled yesterday morning.
