An Indian who has been in jail for ninety days, for disturbing the peace in this city, was discharged from custody on Saturday last. -He went to Grass Valley on Wednesday afternoon and at night entered a dwelling house there. He was arrested on a charge of burglary, examined before Judge Davis, and ordered to the}County Jail to ‘await the action of the Grand Jury, which meets in February next. He ‘was brought to this city by yésterday afternoon’s train and lodged in jail again. ¥. M. 8. €. The members of the Young M en’s Social Clab are requested to meet at A.
