The Chinese Must Go.
At last a process has been djscovered whereby a glossy appearance
can be imparted +o linen shirt bosoms, collars, cufip, etc., by housewives with the same success that has
heretofore attended the operations
of Chinese laundrymen. The secret
consists in using Cheng Wing Starch
Polish, which can be purchased at
Brand & Bassett’s, as advertised in
another column. Lacies, try a ten
cent pac.age and become ‘convinced.
Harry Gaffacy's Death.
Little Harry Gaffney, who died
of scarlet fever at the resfdence of
his parents, on Boulder sareet yesterday morning, was a child of unusual
promis. He was not only quickwitted and amiable, but possessed a
degrée of sound ‘judgment most’ remarkable in one ofsuch tender years.
He was a. universal favorite with all
who knew him, and much sympathy
isextended to the bereaved parents”
in consequence of their loss,
