REVOLUTION is a dark brown, has a rich black flowing mane and
tail, stands 15 hands 3 inches high and weighs 1050 pounds; has
plenty of bone.and muscle; trotted in his 4-year-old form,.over the
San Joaquin Agricultural Society’s track, winning easily against a
strong field of horses. ‘Seven:heats were trotted in the race ; also winner of the free-for-all stallion race at Grass Valley,in September, 1883,
defeating Almont. and. Prompter handily. REVOLUTION is_one of
the grandest trotting sires on the Pacific coast, and has shown trials
in his work of 2:27. He is sure gaited, level headed, kind and gentle,
and is asure foal getter.
