list pf prices, which are just about
half those uswally charged. Blumen' thal says the goods will positively be
sold as advertised, and invites the ladies of Nevada county to call and
be convinced. During these duly
times it behooves every one to take
advance of the downfall in prices of
goods. Ladies, ask your husbands
for a $20 piece, and then go and invest it in Dry Goods, thereby saving
from 33 to 50 per cent.

The following accidents occurred
on Thursday, in this city: A little
ehild of Mr. Davey’s who keeps the
Hilf Mile House on the Grass Valley road, fell.off the porch and broke

Tunnel got iu the way of a stick of
cord wood that was being sént end

and got two ugly gashes on ais head
James. MeCrindie, while working in the Gold
Tunnel mine, waseecaved on, and

loins. A little daughter of Mr.
Shearer, on Broad street, fell on 2
‘piece of glass, and received a ‘severe veut on the knee joint. Mr.
. Weisenberger, who _ lives — out
on the Grass .Valley road, got
hishand between the brake and the
wheel of a wagon, and when the
team moved the vehicle on, it very
naturally got bis flipper in a tight
piace, and quite seriously injured
it. There might have been several
ather events of the kind occurred
without’ our knowledge. If so, we
will write them-up at some other
"time.
