OTICR is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of an
Act.of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled an “Act to provide for, the

Little York Township.Section 1. Commencing at Red Dog,
thence by way of You Bet wo the junction of
the Grass Valley and Bear Hiver road at
the White House. 2% miles more or less.
This line of road requires breas-waters
and turn-outs to keep the water off the
road, and aleo from washing fame, and to
. be kept in good traveling aud. passable order during the Winter; also all ditches to
F be kept open during the rainy season; also
all bridges and culverts to »e put in good
substantial repair immediately. and to be
kept so during the whole term of contract.
Section 2. Commencing at the White
House, thence to Bear River, Four miles.

This line of road requires break-waterr
and turn-outs to keep the water from washing saidr.ad, The You Bet Station road
also requires a ditch on upper side twelve
iiches deep .and twelve inckes wide, to
keep the water off of said roads, an’ the

Section 3. Commencing at the White
House, thence on the Grass Valley road
and the Buena Vista Ranch road to Greenhorn bridge. Two and one-half miles more

Section 4. Commencing at little York,
thence up the Ridge to Lowell Hill. Nine
miles more or less.
This line of road requires. four cuts to
be filled, with culverts in the same, to
carry all water off that may accumulate;
sll bridges and afl culverts to. be put and
kept in good and substantial repair during
the whole term of contract; also bacak-watersand turn-ou's to turn the water off
itheroad, tu: keep it from washing and in
good traveling and passable condition during the Winter aod Spring; algo all ditches
to be kept open during the rainy aadsnowy
s2agon.
The above said culverte to be not less
than twelve inches in the clear. The
planks to be well spiked with six inch
spikes.
Sectlon 5. Commencing st Yon Bet,
‘thence down to Steep.Hollow Creek , acrvss
said creek to Little: York. Three miles
more or less. :
This line of road. requiresa good road
from each side of the creek into the said
creek; also a good road across the tailings
of said creek, and to be kept so uring the
whole term of said cdntract; also ot requires break-waters acd turn-outs to turn
the water off the road to keep it from washing; also all ditches are to be kept open
during the reimy season; also all bridges
aud culverts aretto be put in repair immediately, and to be kept so during the whole
term of contract.
The Gontractor shall be required to keep
the road free from all ebstructions, such
as fallen trees, rocks, stones (loose or oth: .
erwise) from said road.
