Another reason why Nevada county people, irrespective of party, should support Judge Niles, is that he is entirely familiar with the laws and. customs of mining, on account of his long practice in Courts where important mining suits were tried. The whole northern part of the State is equally interested with Nevada county in having upon the Supreme Bench, where important mining cases are finally decided, such a man as Judge Niles.
