county people, irrespective of party,
should support Judge Niles, is that
he is entirely familiar with the laws
and. customs of mining, on account
of his long practice in Courts where
important mining suits were tried.
The whole northern part of the State
is equally interested with Nevada
county in having upon the Supreme
Bench, where important mining cases
are finally decided, such a man as
Judge Niles. The other candidate
for this position isfrom the agricultural section, and of all the members
of the Court as.at present constituted, tiohe are so Well qualified to deal
with mining questions as Judge Niles.
