September, A. D,, 1882, filed their creditors
petition against P. H. Belden, an insolvent
debtor, and the Judge of the Superior Court
ol the County of Nevada, State of California,having on that day made an order citing
the said P. H. Belden to show cause on the
16th day of September, 1882, why he should
not be adjudged a bankrupt under the provisions of the insolvent act of 1880, and it
duly appearing that the copy of the said petition and erder was duly served on the said
P. H. Belden, and> that he mude default,
whereupon by request of Hon, John Cald
well, Judge of the Superior Court of Nevada’
County aforesaid, the Hon, W. W. Cross,
Superior Judge of the County of Tulare, of
State aforesaid, did act as Judge of this
Court. for the purpose of hearing the
matters in the order aforesaid contaiied,
and upon the default of said P. H. Belden
did adjudge him a bankrupt under the provisions of the act aforesaid, and did order
that the said insolyent should file @ schedule
in this Court within sixdays from the date
of the said order in acvordance with sections
8 and 4of the act aforesaid, and now the said
P, H, Belden, having on the 22d asy of September, A. D. 1882, tiled his schedule aforesaid in accordance with the said order, by
which it appears he is an insolvent dcotor,
jthe-said P. H, Belden is hereby decla
to be insolvent.
Tne Sheriff of the County of Nevada is hereby directed to take possession of all ‘the estate both real and personal of the said P. H.
Belden, debtor, except such as. be by
law exempt from execution, and all of his
deeds, vouchers, books’of account, and .
pers, and to keep the same safely until Boe
appointinent of an assignee of his estate.
All persons areforbidden to pay any debts
to the said insolvent orto deliver any property belonging to him,”or to any TsOn,

The ‘said debtor is hereby forbidden to
transfer ordeliver any property, ntil the
further orderof this Court, except as herein
