James Allen, formerly of this city, and sister of O. P. Stidger, Esq. of North San Juan, died at San Francisco, on Tuesday last. Judge Stidger received'a dispatch on Monday stating that Mrs. Allen was dangerously ill and he left the next morning, but did not arrive in San Francisco till after her decease.
