Mr. Perrin says that Jones had some words with another man,-not named, in the brewery saloon about a debt, when Hedge. spoke up andsaid to Jones, ‘‘What do you want to make such a fuss about that for ? You had bettéi pay the twenty-five dollars you owe me.” Jones then turned ufacturers, and C. J.
