CAUTION, _
a
LL perions are hereby cautioned
against vurchasing « certain quartz
ledge from one Olsen,or Charley Wilson
as he is called, as I claim the same, In
1872 I bought the quartz ledge now known
as the Nevata Quarta (Mine, of Olsen &
Olin, situated on Canyon Creek. Washingtun Towns! ip, Nevada County ©1., and
is the North extension of the Lindsey
ledge. There is a spur which runs oft
from my tunnel, and the above named
party has located the same, and claimsit
as an irdependent ledge, but in fact it
belongs to me, and. .be public will tak
due uotice thereof.
CHAS. MORAN,
July 14, 1877. }
ANSWER TO CAUTION.
‘HAS. MORAN is correct in Stating
C that we sold the quartz ledge now
known as Nevada Quartz Mine, to him, in
> 1872, but his assertion that we now Claim,
. #8 an iudependentiedge, a spur from that
ledge, which-ruus from his tunnel, and
belonging to’ him, isa very fic:
ment. means by thatspur a ledge
which is about 800 feet from his, ruuning
parallet with it and is on the extension of
the Yuba. ledge, while his is on that of the
Lindsey ledge, he will oblige us, by provzing his statements, and alse his title to
the ledge, or else take back his accusation
and hold his peace,
