Our Town,
We believe our little city possesses
attractions which, when all things
are considered, make itone of the
most desirable places of residence in
the State, Theclimate here is un-excelled in the State, or in the
world. The air is: as pure and inVigorating as mountain air possibly
can be, and it is as healthy as pure
air, pure water and pleasant sur.
roundings can make it. It is the
county seat of the most prospervus
mining county in the State. Its
public buildings are neat, commodious and substantial. The public
school buildings will compare with
those of any town outside of San
Francisco. Its church edifices are
also first-class. It has railroad connection with . commercial centres.
Almost every kiud of fruit flourishes
here, and in facet there is every requisite here for a prosperous and
happy people. .
Celebatis Social Club,
Grass Valley has never been cele.

young gentlemen, who aré united

meet for: social’ intercourse and for
