THURSDAY MORSING SEPT. 24th
The National gives the following as the
programme for the full racing term at the
Glenbrook race courae, which commences . '
October 15th 1863, purses being offered by
the club to the aubouat of $2,000:—For the
first day of the fall term of races: mile heats .
best two in three, for secoud class trotters
ewned in the county; same day, trotting
race, mile heats, best three in five, free for
& running race, mile and repeat, free for all ;

three in five, for first class trotters owned
in Nevada county. On the third and last
day of the fall term there will be a running

The purses wiil shortly be arranged of

Serious’ AccipentT.—On Tuesday last.a
runaway team came in collision with a carriage containing Henry Place, Mrs. McHen<
‘ry and a lady whose name we could not learn,
breaking both vehicles considerably and seriously injuring Mrs. Mcflenry.
