Monday, October 31, 1870,
Unexpected interferences have operated to
make this delay necegsary to accomplish the
result of freeing the Library from debt, without recourse to other privileges granted by act
of the Legislature, passed February 19, 1870,This 1s positively the only postponement
which wiltbe made. The Concert will take
piace on the day above named, commencing
at 9 o’clock, A. M., and to continue until ali
the gifts have,been awarded.
The funds alwpady in bank are considerably
more than enflicient-to insure the snecessful
completion of the contract with the public.
The sale of Tickets will positively close on
Bria, the 28th day of October, 1870.. ;
All Tickets remaining unsold at that time
will be withdrawn from sale and cancelled.—

the 29th day of October, 1870, in one or more
