The Siiver Mine.
Parties who went to the place of
this new discovery since our notice
of the same lust week, have returned
to this city, and have brought specimens of rock from the ledge with
them. The width is supposed to
be, as at first stated) fifty feet.—
There is a streak through the middle
of it of about seven inches in thick\ ness, which is very rich and assays
a large amount. The place where
the ledge exists is as yet known only
toafew. As svon as the discoverers
make a location, they will-muke the
place public, and allow those speculatively inclined to invest a little in
the prospect.
