We have made such arrangements as enable us to offer
the Chicago :
SINGER SEWING MACHINES
This machine is made after the latets models rtom
fj
Singer Machines, and is a perfect fac:simile in make, of
namentation and appearance.
All the patts are made tc
;
The Chicago Singer Machine have every importan impremit winding bobbins without removing the work. from
the machine.
The loose balance wheel is actuated by a solid bolt passing through a coliar securely pinned to the shaft outside
of the balance wheel, whick bolt ‘is held to position by a
strong spiral spring. When a bobbin isto be wound the
bolt is julled out enough to release the balance wheel,
and turned slightly to the right or left where it is held by
a stop-pin tili the bobbin is filled. When the machine is
liable to be meddled with by children, the bolt can be left
out of the wheel when not in use, so that the machine
cannot be operated by the treadle.
The driving w .eel on this machine is admitted to be the simplest, easies
running and most convenientofany. The machine is self-threading, has the
very best tension and thread liberator, is inade o tte best muerial, with the
wearing parts hardened, and ie finished in@a superior Styelt. It has ve
neered cover, drop-leaf table, end diuwers<ind cenwing drawer.
