The case has been pending in the Superior Court for two years or over, and after frequent delays a jnagment was rendered in favorof the defendant. The , new trial was granted on technical grounds, and the same matters are pending in the land office at Sacra: —: Suit Ps TE J.R. Hartley has commenced suit in the Yuba county Superier Court against H. B. Wheaton, proprietor of a mine at Smartsville, to recover ~~~ $400-15OF thisamount, -$185.05 is for labor, and the balance, $215.10, for timber, wood and shakes supplied.
