A $45 SEWING MACHINE FOR $17.

We have made such arrangements as enable us to offer
the Chicago
SINGER SEWING MACHINES
This machine is made after the /atets models’ rtom
Singer Machines, -and is a perfect fac-simile in make, of
namentation and appearance. All the._parts_.are-made—te:
gauge exactly the same as the Singer, and are constructed
of precisely the same materials.
The Chicago Singer Machine have every importan imrovement_ina /aase halaxee wheel so constructed as to
remit winding bobbins without removing the work trom
the machine.
The loose balance wheel is actuated by a solid bolt passing through a collar securely pinned to the shaft outside
of the balance wheel, which bolt is held to position by a
strong spiral spring. When a bobbin is to be wound the
bole is pulled out énough to release the balance wheel,
and turned slightly to the right or left where it is held by
a stop-pin tili the bobbin is filled. When the machine js
liable to be meddled with by children, the bolt can be left
out of the’wheel when not in use, so that
the machine
cannot be operated by the treadle.
The driving w .eel on this machine is admitted to be the simplest, easies
running and most convenientof any. The machine is self-threading, has the
very best tension und thread liberator, is made o {te bast in terial, with the
wearing parts hardened, and is finished in a superior styelt,
neered Cover, drop-ieaf table, end diaWers and cenwing drawer,
