SECTION I.
The general fire limits of the City of Nevada shallinclu e the whole of the following blocks as designated on the Official)
td of the City of Nevada, according tothe
Official survey made by H. 8. Bradley in
1869, viz :. Blocks 4,5, 7, 13,14, 16, 21; 29, 3),
81 and 35, which are hereby declared to be
the general Fire Limit Blocks.
SECTION 2.
All buildings hereafter erected, commenc~
ed, constructed or completed within the
general Fire Limits of the City of Nevada
shall be made ana constructed as fullows :

SECTION 4.
All buildings erected within the
special fire limits, shall be made and constructed as follows: Kvery .0om to havea

this ordinance, for any person to construct,

be constructed, or to aid or adyise or
assist in constructivg, or to maintain or
occupy upon any day, or any portion of a
day, within the general orspecial fire limits,
eny building or structure otherwise than as
in this ordinance provided, or contrary to
the provisions of this ordinance:
SECTION 5,

SECTION 6.
The gates walls of all buildings of cither
brick: or stone, or of both, tu be used us
stores, wxrehouses, hotels or shops, shall be
at least sixteen inches in thickness, in the
basement cor feundation story aud for the
first story, and at least twelve inches in
thickness iorthe second stury: ‘Ibe outer
walis of all buildings to be used #8 dwelling
houses, sheds, stubles or other outhouses
hereafter to be erected shal! for a two stury

eight inches in th.ckness for the second
story. All partition walls shall extend

SECTION 7.
No brick or stone wall shall be supported
upon stringers of wood; and it shali be unlawful for any. persun to raise, build upon,
or alter sny building of brick and stone or
both, unless the same-is so completed,
altered or constructed, as to comply with
the provisions of tnis ordinance.
SECTION 8,
It+hall be unlawful for any person to
smoke hams, bacon, sausage, or any meats
whatever in houses,other than brick or
stone houses, with walls at least twelve
fui to Construct, use or maintain any chimney .r flue attached to, or connected with
any structure within the genera, or special
fire limits, unless the same shall be constracted of stone, brick or terra-cotta from
