Limits for the City ‘of Nevada‘ to provide for the Prevention and Extinguishment of Fires and to Repeal all Ordinances in Conflict Therewith. HE Board of Trustees ofthe City of Ner vada do hereby ordain es jollows : “SECTION I. < ‘The general fire limits of the City of Nevada shall inclu e the whole of the following blocks as. designated. on the Official Map of the City of Nevada, Neer tothe Oficial survey made by H. Bradley in 1869, viz: Blocks 4,5, 7, 13,14, 16,21, 29, 30, 81 and 35, which are hereby declared to be the general Fire Limit Blocks. SECTION 2. ed, constructed or completed within the general Fire Limits of the City of Nevada shall be made and constructed as fullows : Kach and every room and apartment within the building shall have the ceiling and sides latned anc plastered ; wainscoting not exceeding four (4) feet in height may also be used, and PROVIDING that sheet-iron or any non-combustible substance may be used instead of lath and laster ; the exterior wallé of every such ilding shall be const ucted of wooden studs with we-ther boards or rustic on the outside, or of :ron, brick or stone; PROVIDED thatifiron, brick or stone be so used in the construction of the exterior walls of buildings within the. general Fire Limits then the interior need_not be lathed and plastered or otherwise Hned as in this Section provided, but if finished or partitioned off it wust conform to the foregoing provisions of this Section.
