As long as I find the ledge going down I am satisfied good Yesults will be obtained. As I have said before, all that is required is depth ; the stockholders must be satisfied to wait for that ; in the meantime, every dollar of the company’s money will be spent inthe most economical manner, I could get, faster work done by contract, but it would be far more expensive, and time is not so much of an object as the saving of the difference. ‘Still if the company wish it I will Jet a contract for the balance of he 100 feet. of ten hours, two men in a shift; little water te contend with. That Mewey Will Buy a Good Sewing Machine. : “The Taanscrwrt has within the past two years offered many special premiums to its subscribers, and of hundreds of people who have availed themselves of the opportunities exteided to them not one case of dissatisfaction has yetarisen. In every instance the subscriber has been more than delighted with the bargain secured. The latest offering includes three grades of the Chicago Singer Sewing Machine, a perfact imitation of the genuine Singer machine and according to the verdict of hundreds who have used both as guod as the original for all practical purposes. Three numbers of this admirable piece of mechanism are advertised and described on the second page of today’s paper, and full information is given as to cost of freight to this city, etc. The manufacturers also supply other grades up to one with an elabororately ornamented -and full-pearled bead on a full cabinet case, beautifully finished with mouldings and elegant French walnut veneers, gothic cover with finely veneered panels, and a chest of drawers inside the case. Any machine that is not satisfactory ean be returned tothe factory atid the money will be refunded. If you are in need of or thinking of buying a sewing machine, look ‘into the Iranscrirt’s proposition before paying a fancy price for one that is certainly no better, perhaps not as good as the Chicago Singer.
