WHAT WILL IT BE,
A Democratic or a Republican United
States Senator.
There are good reasons to believe that
there will be a bombshell thrown into
the Democratic ranks when it comes to
the election of a United States Senator,
fhe People’s Party has declared that
their representatives in the Legislature
must vote for a man of their own party,
and against a Democratic or Republican
caucus nominee. The Democrats, on
joint ballot, have a majority of two, and
uow-it is rumored that three of the
members elect: are preparing to’ go on
long journeys be ore the Legislature
meets, and will not return for a long
time, They will not resign, and under
the law the election of United States
. Senator wilt be about the first’ business
to be attended to. With the e three

Advice For All.
“The child must crawl before
estate and goes into business for himself.
Now comes‘advice from parents in the
future. Some parents might give their
children gor d advice in business, and they
might be successful; while other parents
avho love their children Well and may
advise them, but the advice may not prove
satisfactory, and the children may make
mistakes. So everything is like a dream
in this world, and things which are
meant for good turn out wrong.
We will say to the people of * Nevada
and surrounding counties that these few
remarks are made by L. Hyman himself.
My age is 37 years, and my Dbéfiness is
that of a merchant. I was raised in

But with me it was different, as my
father was poor, and I did not learn

an apprenticeship of five yoars, and

When I arrived at Hamburg 1 was told
that on account of the war L could not

to Greensburg, thence to London. IT had
never before seen a steamer, and did not
know what it was. When I arrived at
Greensburg and took the train I was surprised again, and when I arrived in London, the bigyest city in the world, I was
most surprised to find I could’ net talk
the language, and I was calléd a greenhorn, knew what green racantin GerHowever, . started in to work at
