Alongside of the upper reservoir in the
excavation there is a tunuel which is arranged so that the flow from the face of
the mine can pass through it and out into
the reservoir of Humbug creek and not
pass through either of the settling reservoirs. The managers of the mine claim
that they do not use this only on rare

choked up so as to require relief by this
