4 Melange of Mesie and Comedy That
Pleases.
The Noss Jollities had a large audience
at this city last evening and their performance pleased their patroas mightily. .
While it is not what could be called “a
great show,” it is novel in many respects
and goés with avivacity and smoothugss . MWhat renders it most acceptable. ‘There
are three gentlemen and four ladies, besides the musical director, and each member appears in a wide range of spevialties, notable amoung which are a saxaphone quintette, a xylophone sextette
with a decidedly clever song and dance,
azouave drill, a vocal duet by Ferd
and May and some orchestral selections,
besides fully as many more features of
more or less merit. The concluding portion of the performance isa two-act comedy introduced mainly as a setting for a
wido variety of musical attraetions, and
in which there is much wholesome fun.
‘Lhe performance as 4 whole is one of the
best of its class that has been given he.e,
and the Noss Family are sure to meet
with the approbation of the public wherever they may go.
