No. 4. (Green.) Excessive coloring, consisting of
indigo and aluminons earth,
No. 5. (Unce‘ored? alleged.) Colored with plumbago and clay.

An Ordinance Supplementary to and

Ordinance No, 32, Regulating the Issuing of Licenses,
1K BOARD OF FRUSTEES OF THE
City of Nevada do hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Ordinance No, 82. (Old
No, 7) regulating the issuing of licenses
is amended as follows:
No license shall be hereafter issued to
any saloon, or place where malt, vinous,
or spirituous liquors are sold or given
away, in quantities less than one quart,
unless before or at the time of the issu
ance ot such license a permit to carry on
the said business shall be granted by a
majority of the Board of City Trustees,
and no pernfit shall be granted by the
said Board of City ‘Trasteey, and no permit shall be granted by the said: Board to
any noisy or disorderly. house, or the
keeper thereof.
Section 2. If any house, to which
license shall have been issued to carry on
such business, shall become noisy or disorderly, such license may be revoked by
a majority of the Board of Trustees of
said Nevada City, Provided, the said
Board shall not refuse to allow lieense to
be issued to any such house, or the keeper
thereof, and shall not revoke any license,
. unless. the rson of reons affected
thereby, shall. have first had notice, of at
least one day, and shall have had the opoo tad of being heard before the said
rd.
Section 3. Any person violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance, or any
rson or persqns carrying on the saloun
usiness, or any~ business where malt,
vinous, or spirituons liquors are “sold or
given away in quantities less than one
quart, contrary to the provisions of this
ordinance (except licensed druggists)
shall be-deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and shall pay a fine of not less than ten,
nor over owe hundred dollars, or be imprisoned not less than one, nor aver ten
days, or shall suffer beth fine and imprisonment in the discretiun of the Court.
And-in addition thereto the said house,
so being carried on without a license is
hereby declared a public nuisance and
shall be abated and Shppressed by civil
. Jhis ordinance shall take effect, and be
