The convention was called. in the interest of miners and miners alone. To the astonishment of the people at large who are interested in mining, such counties as Sacramento and Colusa have elected delegates to attend the convention for the sole purpose of creating dissension and attempt to thwart the purpose for which the cenvention was called.
