At Nevada City: the Providence is’

it is giving regular and satisfactory returns to its owners. The Champion
and the Mountaineer are also being
worked on an extensive scale and are
dividend payers. The Nevada City,
which has one of the richest and best
ledges in the county, but has been
shut down for a few years because of
incompetent management, has recently been resuscitated by a. new company and is being managed upon business principles, which will be'sure to
